SALMED fair postponed to 2022

Current governmental restrictions prohibit activities related to the organization, promotion or management of events, such as fairs, exhibitions and conferences. The aim is to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Respecting the dedication of all the medical services in the fight against the epidemic, and taking care for the safety of SALMED exhibitors and visitors, the Management Board of MTP made the difficult decision to postpone the date of the event to 23-25 March 2022.

- We have been organizing SALMED for many years, taking care of the relationships with our partners, exhibitors and visitors. We are in constant contact with them. Now, majority of them face the most important challenge of preventing the further development of the epidemic. They fight with the virus on several fronts: in hospitals, clinics and in companies serving the medical market. These priorities are obvious to us. We admire and appreciate great efforts of medical services and we don't want to force anyone from this sector to face difficult choices. Therefore, the decision to postpone SALMED seems to us not only justified, but also necessary. On behalf of the entire team, I thank you all for your support and involvement in the organization of this event. I hope that SALMED 2022 will be not only attractive and valuable, but most of all safe. We strongly believe that this interruption will result in even larger attendance in 2022, with even more interesting exhibition and unique atmosphere that for years has been attracting all our guests interested in new trends in medicine – says Paulina Pietrzak, Director of SALMED Fair.

SALMED is Poland's largest fair of medical equipment and instruments. For years, the fair has been an excellent opportunity for establishing contacts between the representatives of medicine, business and science. The event will be held on 23-25 March 2022 at MTP fairgrounds.
